  • Bagatayam Falls

    This is the favorite haunt and rendezvous of picnickers. not as gigantic compared to other falls but it has a hydraulic force that provides electric power to Baranagay Bagatayam and energy which ran a mill sometime in 1950. The water originates from Binaliw Spring that flows down to Bagatayam river.
  • Alegre Beach Resort

    Alegre Beach Resort nestles amidst a 7-hectare green tropical gardens of the province. Its white sandy beach and turquoise water lure visitors from everywhere making the place famous.
  • Binaliw Spring

    It is the source of life to the Sogoranons as It provides an uninterrupted supply of water to Sogod Waterworks System. Tourist flock to this place with the belief that this spring water has the healing power for illnesses. The cold water that flows downstream entices one for a swim.
  • Panagsogod Festival

    It is a celebration of gratitude, faith and culture of the sogoranons. One of the highlights of annual town fiesta in honor of its patron, St. James de Apostle. Held every 25th of July.
  • St. James de Apostle Parish Church

    A religious institution built in 1842 when the Roman Catholic doctrine spread from Sogod to the northern part of Cebu Province. It stands the strong belief to the Sogoranons amidst the existence of other sects in the community. You can find here antique items like the church bells, baptismal back church walls, roof top and the likes.
  • Municipality of Sogod

    Sogod is Visayan term for “start”, and locals said the town is so named because it is a place of beginnings.It is in Sogod that fine white sand stretching farther north begins, ending the string of dark sand beaches in preceding municipalities.
