PIPOL KONEK provides free wifi internet access in public places. This is a partnership between LGU-Sogod and DICT. The LGU provides the infrastructure while the DICT provides the bandwidth.
Levels of access:
Level 1 INSTANT ACCESS to the internet via your web browser. No registration needed (50mb/day).
Level 2 REGISTERED ACCESS.get internet access by registering your email account to the system. (100mb /day data limit).
Level 3 Registered access has 300mb/day data limit but still under development.
Furthermore, the RIS training aims to capacitate those interested sogoranons who want to venture the home based online jobs or online freelancers.
